Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has warned Joe Hart that his place between the sticks is not guaranteed after a raft of mistakes.
The England international has been culpable for a number of goals over the last month in both the Premier League and Champions League, leading his boss to fire a warning shot.
The 25 year-old will also want to forget a torrid night for the national side, which saw him beaten four times by Zlatan Imbrahimovic.
The stopper had gained a reputation over the last year as one of the best around, but his recent exploits have hindered City's progress in the Champions League.
Mancini said: "For me he is the first choice but if he does not play well I change. I don't have any problem.
"Joe is like Mario Balotelli, like all the other players. For England I think it will be the same. If he does not play well maybe the manager can change the keeper.
"Costel Pantilimon is a good keeper and if Joe does not play well for five or six games, probably I can change the keeper. This is normal."
