City expect 'several' new faces

Mark Hughes has revealed that Man City are looking to get 'several' further additions to the squad before the end of the month.

Hughes completed his second capture since taking charge at Eastlands on Thursday, when Israeli defender Tal Ben Haim joined City from Chelsea in a £5million deal.

The former Bolton player joins Brazilian Jo as the summer captures by the Blues, but expected further incomings in the coming four weeks with Hughes desperate to put his stamp on the squad.

The City boss stated: "Ben Haim is a good, experienced, Premier League defender who maybe has a point to prove. He feels he did not get enough games at Chelsea and is looking to be involved a lot more here.

"He will not be the only new arrival. We are looking for good players in several positions and are working on a few deals."
