Manchester City could be set to rival Juventus in the race to sign Anderlecht striker Matias Suarez, according to his agent.
Reports in Italy have suggested that Serie A title chasers Juve are interested in taking the highly-rated 23-year-old forward from the Belgian outfit at the end of this current campaign.
And, in an effort to clear up the situation surrounding Suarez's future, his agent Jorge Cyterszpiller confirmed to Belgian newspaper DHnet that there is interest from the Old Lady of Turin, while several other top European clubs, including Manchester City, have also made their interest known.
However, Cyterszpiller also revealed that Suarez, who joined Anderlecht from Belgrano in his homeland in 2008 and has gone on to be an influential figure since Romelu Lukaku departed the club for Chelsea, is not actively looking to leave them.
But, no doubt the prospect of playing in one of Europe's top leagues with City or Juve would appeal to Suarez, while Anderlecht could be tempted to offload if they receive a sizeable offer.
