City handed Cypriot task

Manchester City have been drawn against AC Omonia of Cyprus in the Uefa Cup first round.

The Nicosia-based outfit finished third in the Cypriot league last season and their ground, the GSP Stadium, holds 22,859 supporters.

The two teams will meet in a two-legged affair, with the ties scheduled to take place on September 18 and October 2.
