City linked with Real ace

Manchester City are again being linked with a move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas as doubts surround Joe Hart's future.

Hart has been left out of the City side in recent weeks after suffering a crisis of confidence and boss Manuel Pellegrini is looking to bring in another goalkeeper in January.

Casillas is struggling for regular action with Real as Diego Lopez continues to dominate the number one jersey at the Bernabeu and a move away could appeal to the Spanish international ahead of the World Cup.

Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes and Julio Cesar of Queens Park Rangers are also options for Pellegrini should a move for Casillas fail to materialise in the window.
