Manchester City target Edinson Cavani has described fellow suitors Real Madrid as a 'beautiful team' who would be a dream to play for.
The 26-year-old Uruguay international, who is currently at the Confederations Cup in Brazil, had recently expressed a desire to play under new City boss Manuel Pellegrini, who has replaced the sacked Roberto Mancini at the Etihad Stadium.
However it now seems that Spanish giants Real Madrid, who are also battling it out with City for the signature of Malaga playmaker Isco, will be his preferred choice if he leaves Rafael Benitez's Italian Serie A side this summer.
Speaking to 'El Partido de las 12', Cavani said: "I am very calm. Real Madrid are a beautiful team, every player dreams of playing there when he is a child.
"Those are things that they are talking from behind, as it will soon be seen. But officially nobody has talked with me."
On the possibility of a summer move, Cavani added: "I am for now a Napoli player and I am focused on the Confederations Cup.
"What the clubs decide doesn't depend only on me, but also on other factors which will be talked about once the tournament is over."
