Manchester City will move for either Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo or Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao in the summer.
City sold Mario Balotelli to AC Milan for around £20million in January but didn't manage to bring in a replacement and will use the funds raised from the Italian's sale to bolster their attacking options in the summer.
Former Manchester United favourite Ronaldo is unsettled at the Bernabeu and could be tempted to move on, although it remains to be seen whether or not he can be convinced to join his former club's rivals.
Falcao is expected to depart Atletico in the summer due to the Spanish side's financial situation and City hope to tempt the Colombian star to move to the Etihad Stadium, although they will face plenty of competition for his signature and both Ronaldo and Falcao will demand hefty transfer fees.
City pair Edin Dzeko and Carlos Tevez have also been linked with summer exits and boss Roberto Mancini may have to overhaul his attacking line-up in the summer, even if Ronaldo and Falcao cannot be convinced to join the reigning champions.
