City tracking teenage sensation

Man City are tracking the progress of FC Groningen youngster Richairo Zivkovic, who was linked with Liverpool in the summer.

The 17-year-old broke into the Eredivisie outfit's first team last season before establishing himself in Groningen's starting XI with a string of fine performances this term.

The Dutch-Serbian wonderkid has scored four goals in 12 league appearances so far this season and has earned comparisons to Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben in the process.

Zivkovic's form this season has attracted the interest of City but they aren't the only club reported to be monitoring the teenager's progress, with Groningen revealing in the summer that Liverpool were after him.

There are also a host of clubs in Holland who are keen on snapping up Zivkovic but City will hope the wages they can offer, plus the allure of Champions League football, will be enough to attract him to the Etihad Stadium.
