Manchester City star Robinho could make the bench at Liverpool on Saturday after a fractured ankle.

The Brazilian has been out since he suffered the problem on international duty earlier in the season and boss Mark Hughes will make a late decision.

Hughes is hopeful Gareth Barry will shake off groin trouble but Craig Bellamy is less likely to face his old club.

City are still without Martin Petrov (knee), Nedum Onuoha (thigh), Benjani (hip).

Liverpool expect Steven Gerrard, Glen Johnson and Daniel Agger to play after recent injuries but Fernando Torres misses out once again.
