Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has rejected reports his side have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City's Edin Dzeko.
Dzeko's future at the Etihad has been under question throughout the campaign and on Thursday morning German football journalist Raphael Honigstein used his twitter account to claim a deal to take the striker to Dortmund in the summer was "all but done".
However, Klopp has stressed that, while he remains a fan of the former Wolfsburg forward, he doesn't expect to sign the Bosnian international at the end of the campaign.
He told SID: "Dzeko is a good player but he is sadly out of our possibilities."
The Bundesliga side's stance on Dzeko could change if, as expected, they are forced to cash in on Robert Lewandowski in the summer.
The Polish international is reportedly set for a big money move away from Dortmund and his sale could raise the funds to swoop for Dzeko.
