It looks a tough group on paper and after spending big during the summer transfer window, City are seen by the other teams as the biggest threat as they look to win their second European title - following their success in the Cup Winners Cup in 1970.
Those seeking to use their £25 free bet will note though that City's two away games will be against arguably the two toughest teams in the group, Schalke and Santander.
Muller admitted: "On paper I consider Manchester City to be the strongest opponents. They have a quality team and signed two very good players in the summer in Robinho and Jo."
Meanwhile speaking about the draw, Mark Hughes said: It's obviously a pretty tough group that we find ourselves in. If you look across the board though, there are some really testing teams in all the groups.
"It will be a challenge but I'm confident that we can progress further in the competition."
