Manchester City striker John Guidetti is understood to be close to agreeing a loan move to Turkish Super League outfit Trabzonspor.
The Swedish striker, 21, missed all last season because of a serious illness but returned to full training in the summer and played in some pre-season matches.
Reports in Turkey today claim he is in Trabzon to finalise a season-loan loan switch only hours after the club declared an interest in the player.
Guidetti joined City from Brommapojkarna in 2007 and spent a season on loan at Feyenoord a couple of years ago in which he became a cult hero after bagging 23 goals in 21 appearances.
