Man City duo Shaun Wright-Phillips and Nigel de Jong will need late fitness tests ahead of the trip to Spurs on Wednesday night.

Wright-Phillips was forced off early on against Bolton on Saturday in the 3-3 draw at the Reebok and will be the subject of a late decision with Stephen Ireland waiting in the wings.

Dutchman de Jong was not at training on Monday because of swine flu but has a chance of recovering, according to boss Mark Hughes.

De Jong missed the trip to Bolton but could make his comeback at White Hart Lane.
