Jose Mourinho has dismissed reports that he has agreed a switch to take over at Manchester City at the end of the season.

Reports in the Spanish media on Thursday linked the Real Madrid boss to the Etihad Stadium but the former Chelsea manager has since rebuffed the claims.

He said: "I deny that I or anyone on my behalf has reached an agreement with City.

"I have a contract and do not have to answer questions that have no foundation."

The Portuguese chief, who has stated he wishes his next managerial job to be in England, is under contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2014 but speculation continues to surround his future in the capital following rumours of a fall out with the players.
