Roberto Mancini has hit out at Manchester City officials for refusing to dismiss speculation over his future at the club.
Rumours over Mancini's position at the Etihad Stadium have rumbled on ever since they made an early exit from the Champions League and the Italian believes the doubts over his future should have been put to bed long before now.
Saturday's shock FA Cup final defeat to Wigan will pile even more pressure on Mancini and reports in Spain claim that Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini is being lined up to take charge.
Mancini is still unsure what the future holds and believes it is about time the club clarified the situation.
"If we find out in a week the things you say are not true, you have written a lot of stupid things in the last six months and more in the last two weeks," he said.
"If it is true I am stupid because I didn't understand anything. You have been speaking about this for the last six months, and also the last two weeks. It is too much.
"The club didn't stop this. I don't think that was correct. I don't think it is true."
