Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed his interest in Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli with a view to a summer move.

Mancini knows all about the striker from his time in charge of Inter and says he is a player he would like to bring to Eastlands if a deal can be struck in the future.

The 19-year-old is rumoured to have had a number of bust ups with Inter boss Jose Mourinho, but Mancini says he never had any problems and would like to be reunited with the striker.

"I would bring Mario here because he is young and has great potential to be world class," Mancini revealed. "He can resolve games and I never had any complaints about him."
