Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini believes that he could lose his job if he does not win the FA Cup against Wigan on Saturday.
The Italian has come under fire from the club's billionaire owners for failing to put up a fight in the Premier League and dropping out of the Champions League by finishing bottom of their group.
Although the former Inter boss is preparing to lead his side out at Wembley where they will take on the struggling Latics for the chance to win his third trophy in three years, he admits that there is a lot of pressure on his shoulders.
Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini has emerged as the favourite to succeed Mancini and it is understood he has already told the Spanish side that he will be leaving in the summer.
Mancini said: "I won seven trophies at Inter in four years and they sacked me after four years.
"This is football. I know football enough to understand this situation.
"I only want to do my job well, if it is possible, and continue to win every year. This is my target."
