Mario Balotelli is banned and Yaya Toure is injured as Manchester City try to pick up the pieces of their title tilt against West Brom.

City boss Roberto Mancini is hoping to have his inspirational Ivorian midfielder back to face Norwich after he hobbled out of City's 1-0 loss at Arsenal last Sunday with a knee injury after just 15 minutes.

The Italian expressed his views on Balotelli after that damaging defeat and there appears to be no way back for the forward, despite the FA's announcement that no further action is to be taken against him for a bad challenge on Alex Song.

David Silva, who was forced to sit out last weekend's trip to Emirates Stadium, is expected to return to face the Baggies and Micah Richards should replace Pablo Zabaleta in the back four.

Edin Dzeko is also being tipped to start alongside Sergio Aguero in attack.
