Manchester City defender Micah Richards has emerged as a top target for Serie A outfit Inter Milan, according to his agent.
Richards was limited to just eight first-team appearances last season due to a combination of injuries and difficulty dislodging Pablo Zabaleta from the right-back position.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Italy over recent weeks with Roma also understood to be considering a move.
Dario Canovi, the player's agent insists that although no formal approach has yet been made he expects an offer in the very immediate future.
Canovi said: "I know that there is interest from Inter for the player.
"Contacts between the two clubs are between them.
"Inter have contacts with Alexander Livac, the British agent with whom I work. He had telephone contact with those at Inter, but there is still nothing really concrete."
