La Liga club Espanyol are understood to be among the interested parties keen on signing Scott Sinclair this summer.
The former Swansea man appeared to be surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium under Roberto Mancini and although there has been a change at the helm, Sinclair's future remains in doubt.
West Brom have already made an enquiry to City about the prospect of signing the 24-year-old, who made just three first-team starts in his first season at Eastlands.
Reports claim the winger will hold talks with Manuel Pellegrini this weekend to discuss his future, with more big-money signings expected to arrive at the club this summer.
It has been suggested that City would prefer a permanent exit rather than a loan departure for Sinclair, who cost City £6million last summer.
