Manchester City target Radamel Falcao insists he is happy at Atletico Madrid but admits the future is out of his hands.

City have not given up hope of landing the striker but rumours of a possible move to Chelsea refuse to go away and there have been some suggestions that a deal is already in place for the striker when the transfer window re-opens.

As far as Falcao is concerned he is focused on doing the best he can for his current employers and is not thinking of a move to City, Chelsea or any other club.

"I am happy here and enjoying things at present," Falcao revealed. "I am not thinking about leaving, only in playing this season, and I hope everything goes well.

"The club has needs and it depends on certain results. There are many factors. The economy of the club, entering the Champions League.

"Later, Atletico and the responsible people will decide what to do with my future. Many times the players are the last to know."
