Kolo Toure is excited by the young talent on show at the City of Manchester Stadium
The Ivory Coast international is a major part of the money-fuelled revolution going on in the east side of Manchester after joining from Arsenal during Mark Hughes reign, but it is the young guns at the club that have him drooling with expectation.
As City drive for success on the back of big name signings, it is the acquisition of players such as Adam Johnson from Middlesbrough and the emergence of youngsters such as Abdi Ibrahim, Greg Cunningham and Dedryck Boyata, who has made first team appearances this season, that Toure believes are at the heart of the clubs success, with his belief that these players will see the club go from strength-to-strength in the coming years without having to splash the cash.
Toure told the official club website "We have a lot of good people here who really want to work for the club and believe in the club. From the manager down, we are all determined to take this club as far as we can. But it won't be easy. Success doesn't just come like that - you have to go through some hard times, and that's when you have to be strong and stick together, to fight for each other."
