Galatasaray are the latest big-name club being linked with a summer swoop for Manchester City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov.
The 27-year-old Serbia international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium this summer following a frustrating past campaign in which he struggled for first-team football under former boss Roberto Mancini.
Gael Clichy looks set to remain ahead of Kolarov in new boss Manuel Pellegrini's plans and that has alerted Juventus to his possible availability.
However, Galatasaray appear to have entered the running and Kolarov could snub a move to Turin, where he would be immediately reunited with Carlos Tevez who joined them from City last week, in favour of a move to the Turkish giants.
The main obstacle is that Galatasaray are offering £1.25million to take Kolarov on loan, with the option to buy outright for £5m, while City are looking for immediate funds for the player they paid Lazio £16million for three years ago.
Kolarov recently confirmed that he is not motivated by money as he just wants to play regular first-team football.
He said: "I'm in contact with my agent and soon we will understand what will happen. Money is not everything in life and I have no problem in revising my salary. Simply I want a place in the starting line-up."
