Man Utd are set to wheel out the big guns at Portsmouth but Jonny Evans and John O'Shea are injury doubts.

Boss Sir Alex Ferguson sent out an under-strength side in the Champions League in midweek and the Red Devils went down 1-0 to Besiktas.

But the likes of Patrice Evra, Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov, Edwin van der Sar and Darren Fletcher are ready to face Pompey who are now under the guidance of Avram Grant.

Defenders Evans and O'Shea will need late fitness tests on calf and thigh problems respectively.

The pair were both crocked recently on international duty and could join Rio Ferdinand (calf/back) on the sidelines.

Club captain Gary Neville is back in the squad after a domestic ban.
