Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is planning to put out his strongest side tonight against Danish minnows AaB Aalborg.The last time the Reds went to Denmark was in 2006, and on that occasion an understrength United side suffered a surprising defeat to FC Copenhagen.
Fans thinking of using their free £25 bet on the defending champions will be glad to hear that this time the Old Trafford outfit are desperate for a win.
After the opening draw in Europe's premier competition, it means that Ferguson is likely to feature Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Dimitar Berbatov in his side.
"I don't have any fears about complacency with this side," he said.
"But we made a mistake with the team against Copenhagen and ended up scrapping to qualify. This time I will play my strongest team."
Ferguson has made his players well aware about how important qualification is and with the group also including a tough test against Celtic, the United chief will be keen for a powerful showing tonight.
"The players know how important qualifying is," he added. "Having dropped two points in our first game it is important we get it right against Aalborg.
"Going to Villarreal for a win will be very difficult and the last thing we need is to be going to Parkhead needing three points to go through.
"We need to get to February because that is when the tournament really takes off."
