Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson could be set to turn his attention to Russian international striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.

Ferguson is on the look out for a new striker this summer and after becoming frustrated with his attempts to land Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov, could now look to Pavlyuchenko.

The 26-year-old target man impressed for Russia during Euro 2008 when scoring three goals and United are said to be considering a swoop as Ferguson looks for more height in attack.

The Scot has admitted he may only make one big signing this summer and chances are it will be a striker he goes for with Dutch ace Klaas-Jan Huntelaar also said to be in the frame.
