Anders Lindegaard is a doubt for Manchester United at Norwich this Saturday because of an injury he picked up with Denmark last night.
The Danish goalkeeper was named on the bench for the international friendly against Turkey but sustained a knock during the warm-up for the game - the latest injury setback for the unlucky 28 year old.
Lindegaard has twice lost his place at United because if injury and looked to have established himself as Sir Alex Ferguson's first choice over David de Gea in January last year before he sustained ankle ligament damage in training.
The ex-Aalesund stopper could have been looking forward to showing his ability again with opportunities coming up against Galatasaray and Braga in the Champions League and in the Premier League over Christmas, but his involvement is now in doubt.
"The ankle has not been properly fit before now," he told DR.dk this week.
"I have had problems after I tore some ligaments and I have not been able to kick properly in 9-10 months. It is only starting to be good now."
