Major Ronaldo development claims

Man Utd ace Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he wants to quit Old Trafford to join Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The Portugal winger has consistently refused to be drawn on his future this summer after the La Liga champions launched a bid to prise the 23-year-old away from the Red Devils.

But the latest coming out of Spain claims Ronaldo will deliver his bombshell to United next Tuesday which could trigger the biggest ever transfer deal in football.

"Everything is fine. Next week I will return to England and tell them [Manchester United] that my only desire is to play for Real Madrid and that I will not negotiate," Ronaldo told AS.

United could hold out for £70m for Ronaldo who reportedly has a £200,000 per week deal on the table at the Bernabeu.
