Montpellier could cash in on United target

Manchester United's bid to sign Remy Cabella has been boosted by Montpellier president Louis Nicollin's claim they could sell him.

The 23-year-old, who is tied down to a long-term contract with the French Ligue 1 outfit that expires in 2016, has impressed greatly this season, alerting Red Devils' boss David Moyes in the process.

And, despite Nicollin's previous claim that Cabella is not for sale, he has now revealed that they could be willing to offload the player in January if the right offer is made.

He said: "If we are given 17 million euros we will see."

It is thought Moyes is looking at the France Under-21 international playmaker to add some more creativity into his squad for the second half of the season after missing out on Athletic Bilbao star Ander Herrera on transfer deadline day in September.
