The agent of Jordy Clasie has rejected rumours Manchester United have made a move for the Feyenoord midfielder.
Clasie has been included in the provisional 30-man Netherlands squad for the World Cup this summer and has been linked with a move to Old Trafford following Louis van Gaal's appointment as the club's new boss.
Van Gaal will link up with United after guiding the Netherlands through their World Cup campaign and it has been claimed he is keen to bring Clasie with him to the Premier League.
However, the 22-year-old's agent, Wessel Weezenberg, has insisted that there have been no talks with United or Fiorentina, who have also been credited with an interest, and stressed that Clasie is focusing on the World Cup.
However, Weezenberg did suggest the playmaker is open to a move away from Rotterdam but doesn't expect Clasie to leave Feyenoord before the World Cup begins next month.
"There has been no contact recently with the Viola [Fiorentina] or with the Red Devils [United] or with other clubs," Weezenberg told Calciomercato.
"He is focused exclusively on the national team. The opportunity to train daily with a great coach like Van Gaal is very important for him.
"Jordy's future will probably be decided after the World Cup."
