Paris Saint-Germain are set to offer Cristiano Ronaldo £15m a year to quit Real Madrid - and over £80m for his signature.
The French title winners are lining up a world record bid, according to L'Equipe, that they hope would tempt the ex-Manchester United star into quitting the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid are expected to begin a huge rebuilding programme this summer that will also see them appoint a new manager and PSG are also likely to use the Spaniard's interest in their coach Carlo Ancelotti as a bargaining chip.
Ancelotti is understood to be keen on going to Madrid but PSG have denied Real permission to speak to the Italian over replacing Jose Mourinho.
But the French club's Qatari owners would feel they are not losing out on the deal if it enabled them to get one of the two biggest icons in football - and they could easily foot the bill.
The only problem for PSG is how they would then comply with Financial Fair Play.
