Manchester United are without Rafael for Monday's FA Cup replay at Chelsea, but the likes of Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs will return.
Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson made several changes to his side for Saturday's 1-0 win at Sunderland as he rotated the squad with one eye on the quarter-final replay at Stamford Bridge at 12.30pm this Easter Monday.
However, Rafael's hopes of featuring in both games seem to have been dashed after he picked up a knock at the Stadium of Light and is unlikely to play a part in London.
Ferguson left Rooney, Giggs, Rio Ferdinand, Javier Hernandez and Patrice Evra out on Wearside so all five are in line to return.
Meanwhile, the Scot is looking forward to the game, but feels his United side were fortunate to escape with a 2-2 draw in the initial tie, despite throwing away a two-goal lead, as they were tired following a hard Champions League match with Real Madrid the midweek beforehand.
Ferguson insists his players are "fresher" this time but claims Chelsea have the advantage given that they have enjoyed what he perceives as an easier run to this stage.
"In the last few years, we've had some very difficult draws in the FA Cup," he said.
"Chelsea have enjoyed a great benefit of home draws and I don't think they have had one hard game in the run-up to the semi-finals over the years. That helps, no doubt about that. But they have us to play at Stamford Bridge and we won't be easy for them."
