Reds ace returns in reserves romp

Man UtdTomasz Kuszczak returned to action as United's reserves picked up a first league win for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last night.

Kuszczak had not played since coming on as a substitute against Chelsea last month but the Polish keeper only had one real save of any note to make in a 3-0 win over Bolton at Leyland.

The 26-year-old smothered at the feet of Bolton striker Temitope Obadeyi in the ninth minute, after which it was plain sailing for Solskjaer's young Reds' side which also featured Brazilian right back Rafael.

Italian striker Frederico Macheda was on hand to convert from close range on the half hour mark, before Sam Hewson and Tom Cleverley completed the 3-0 scoreline in the second half.
