Phil Jones, Ryan Giggs and Javier Hernandez are hoping for recalls as Sir Alex Ferguson prepares United to face Wigan Athletic tonight.

The trio were left out of Ferguson's line-up at home to QPR after starting in the 2-0 win at Blackburn, but they all come back into contention in a 22-man squad on duty at the DW Stadium.

Tom Cleverley, who came on as a substitute at the weekend, is also hoping for more playing time while Nani could feature from the bench after getting almost ten full days training under his belt since he recovered from injury.

Ferguson will be wary of Wigan's recent form which saw them win at Anfield and dominate the possession statistics, Antonio Valencia is expected to start against his former club.
