Reus wants United move - Gotze

Last Updated: Thu, 17 Apr 2014 11:55

Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze has confirmed former team-mate Marco Reus is keen on securing a move to Manchester United.

David Moyes will be looking to dive into the transfer market this summer to overhaul his current squad after a poor first season in charge.

The Red Devils look set to finish the campaign outside of the European places and with a lot of ground to make up on the sides placed above them.

Reus is reported to be high on Moyes' list and Gotze has indicated that the deal could well be on the cards, revealing that he has been set on a move to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund for some time.

Gotze said: "When I was at Borussia, Marco wanted a move to Manchester United. He hasn't changed."
