Barcelona star Leo Messi admits Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to be crowned European Footballer of the Year tomorrow.
The Portugal international recently claimed he deserved to win the Ballon d'Or and also take second and third places as well after scoring 42 goals last season as the Red Devils won the Premier League and Champions League.
And Messi, who is also up for the award, insists it is hard to look beyond Ronaldo for the prestigious honour.
The Argentina ace said: "If you look at what Ronaldo has done at Manchester United, scoring all those goals, winning the Premier League and Champions League, then you can say that he deserves the award."
The winner will be revealed on December 2 at a glittering award ceremony hosted by France Football magazine.
