Ronaldo in Chelsea admission

Man UtdManchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted he has no interest in a reunion with Luiz Felipe Scolari at Chelsea.

Ronaldo has made a successful return from ankle surgery for the Double winners and, after enduring a summer-long campaign by Real Madrid to lure him to La Liga, is focused only on winning back the trust of a section of the Old Trafford faithful who feel he invited the overtures of the Spanish champions.

Reports had suggested former national coach Scolari would use his friendship with Ronaldo to try and persuade the Portugal international to move to west London, but the 23-year-old was happy to fend off more speculation about his future.

Ronaldo, speaking ahead of his country's World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Albania, said: "I am friends [with Scolari] but as a professional I want to win the league with Manchester United."
