Wayne Rooney may have played his last game for Manchester United after it was revealed he will sit out the clash with West Brom.
The 27-year-old missed Sir Alex Ferguson's last game at Old Trafford last weekend and will also miss the trip to the Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon as his wife Coleen is due to give birth to their second child.
Reports claim Rooney has been given permission to miss the game against the Baggies and it now remains to be seen if he will ever pull on the red shirt of United again.
Rooney's future at Old Trafford is shrouded in doubt after he handed in a transfer request and it will be down to new boss David Moyes to resolve the situation one way or the other after Ferguson washed his hands of it.
