Striker reveals plan

Man UtdManchester United youngster Fraizer Campbell admits he is determined to take his chance and make the grade at Old Trafford this season.

The striker impressed on loan at Hull City last term and the Tigers wanted to take him back to the KC Stadium to boost their chances of Premier League survival.

But Red Devils chief Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled out the switch and now Campbell has set his sights on a starting role.

"Now I'm back at United the plan is to try and force my way into the first-team plans," Campbell told the Daily Star.

"It was great going away with the first-team squad. I've had some good games and really enjoyed myself but now it would be good to get pre-season out of the way and start scoring goals."

He added: "I'm going to work hard and try to do enough to stay here and go on from there."
