Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has claimed Manchester United are 'very interested' in signing him from Ajax this summer.
Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants to draft in a top quality striker and Huntelaar along with the likes of Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov and Blackburn's Roque Santa Cruz have been linked.
Huntelaar has now spoken of his admiration of United and has admitted that Ferguson is keen on taking him to Old Trafford.
"I love clubs with great history like Ajax, I also love United," Huntelaar told Dutch reporters. "It's a club that makes me dream, especially as Ruud van Nistelrooy played there and did great things with them.
"I know certain English clubs are following me, like Manchester United, who are very interested in me."
