Trotters eye loan swoop

Last Updated: Sun, 13 Oct 2013 04:49

Bolton are reported to be lining up a loan move for Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha, who has been frozen out at Old Trafford.

Zaha is nowhere near the United first-team at the moment and boss David Moyes is considering sending him out on loan, with Bolton favourites to take him.

Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman set Zaha on his way to stardom when in charge of Crystal Palace and is keen to get him on board as Bolton look to climb the Championship table.

A host of Premier League clubs including Palace and Newcastle are keen but cannot move until the January transfer window opens so in the meantime a move to the Reebok could benefit all parties.

The emergence of wonder boy Adnan Januzaj has not helped matters for Zaha and regular first-team football with Bolton could help get his career back on track.
