United ace questioned by police

Wayne Rooney has been questioned by police after alleged spitting incident in London on Tuesday evening.

The Manchester United forward has been interviewed under caution after allegedly spitting at a paparazzi photographer near Oxford Street earlier this week. Reports claim the 22-year-old was leaving a restaurant at the time with his new wife Coleen.

The England international was spoken to by police officers at a neutral venue after a complaint was made against him.
