Manchester United and Napoli have joined Arsenal and Inter in the chase for Genoa's Croatian midfield talent Sime Vrsaljko.
The 21-year-old, who has flourished since his move to Italy after being switched from full-back to midfield, has been the subject of fevered transfer speculation in Croatia this season.
The former Dinamo Zagreb star joined Genoa for an undisclosed fee but has quickly established himself as one of the most promising young talents in Serie A.
Inter and Arsenal were understood to be following his progress very closely but new reports in his home country claim United and Napoli are now interested too.
United did scout the Genoa derby in September when Vrsaljko, playing on the right-hand side of a three-man midfield, was excellent as his side defeated Sampdoria 3-0.
However, despite the rumours, Vrsaljko's agent has played down talk of an imminent move out of Genoa.
Nikky Vuksan told TMW: "You have not seen the best of Sime, he's just arrived in Serie A and is still getting used to this football. He has a great character and will be successful.
"A big club move? He is happy with his life and work in Genoa. He's only thinking of this."
