Fulham remain without a win at Burnley since 1951 as Wade Elliot's strike handed the home side a point at Turf Moor.
Despite their horrific record at Burnley, Fulham made the brighter start out of the two teams. Inside the first two minutes Damien Duff got on the end of a long ball forward, before his chipped effort went over Brian Jensen, but wide of the goal.
Erik Nevland then forced a good save from Jensen after Burnley gave the ball away in midfield. The home side really weren't at the races and all they could threaten with were a couple of Robbie Blake corners.
They did improve as the half went on, but the closest they came to opening the scoring was when Chris Eagles showed good skill before his deflected shot was saved by Mark Schwarzer.
Burnley started well after the break as Wade Elliott dragged his shot wide of the post after good work from Andre Bikey.
It was the away side who got the breakthrough though as Bobby Zamora latched onto a quick free-kick from Chris Baird before finishing well into the corner of the net on 50 minutes under pressure from Stephen Caldwell.
David Nugent was then introduced for the home side and the former Portsmouth man made an immediate impact. He managed to win a throw in out of nothing after working hard on the right hand side and from this, Burnley got themselves on level terms.
Ten minutes after Fulham's goal, Steven Jordan crossed the ball into the box for Elliott to superbly volley past Schwarzer and into the net.
The home fans then urged their side on and Burnley had the better of the final exchanges, but neither side was able to do enough to win the game.
