Second-half goals from Andy Carroll, Craig Bellamy and Dirk Kuyt saw Liverpool run out comfortable winners against Wolves.

After an even first half, Carroll opened the scoring six minutes into the second period when he made the most of Charlie Adam's fine cross from the left and some poor marking to prod home from six-yards out.

The game was as good as over on the hour mark when Liverpool broke and Craig Bellamy exploited the space he was offered to curl a shot through the hands of Wayne Hennessey, who should have done better.

Kuyt sealed things in emphatic style, with his 50th goal for Liverpool, after centring the ball to Adam only to have it returned to him before slotting it home from a tight angle.

It was a far cry from a first half in which the home side gave as good as they got after recovering from a shaky start, which almost saw them go a goal down inside the opening two minutes.

Despite their good football, Wolves were unable to test Pepe Reina on a regular basis and their best effort came with eight minutes remaining, when sub Sylvain Ebanks-Blake saw his long-range strike crash against the post.
