League leaders Manchester United cruised to a 5-0 victory at Wolves, who had Ronald Zubar sent off in the first half.

Javier Hernandez bagged a second-half brace as a clinical United moved four points clear at the top of the table. The ten men of Wolves put up a very brief fightback but end the day bottom of the table after a humbling home defeat.

Jonny Evans' first goal for United put the visitors ahead as he turned home from close range after Wayne Rooney's 21st minute corner.

Wolves were still in the game until Zubar picked up his second booking of the game for a clumsy tackle on Danny Welbeck with just 40 minutes played.

Antonio Valencia raced down the right hand side before getting into the box and finishing well two minutes later and when Valencia found Welbeck moments later the Englishman made it three.

After the break United continued to dominate. On 56 minutes Rafael clipped the ball in to the unmarked Hernandez, who headed home from close range.

Five minutes later the Mexican found the net once again as his half-volley flew into the roof of the net following a sensational flowing move from the visitors.

Michael Kightly forced a good save from De Gea in one of Wolves' very rare attacks, but United might have added more through Rooney and Welbeck late on.
