Middlesbrough and midfielder Merouane Zemmama have parted company by mutual consent.
The 29-year-old Moroccan, who joined the Teessiders from Hibernian in January 2011, made 48 senior appearances for the club and scored seven goals.
Manager Tony Mowbray said: "I'd like to thank Merouane for his efforts while he was here with us.
"The decision we have reached is a mutual one and I would like to wish him well and every success in the future."
