Millwall loanee Mark Beevers is hoping to build on a positive start to his one-month loan spell with the club.

The 22-year-old defender joined the Lions from Sheffield Wednesday earlier last week before making his debut in their 2-1 win over Bolton on Saturday.

And while Beevers is unsure whether his stay will extend beyond the 28 days, he has promised to give his all for the next four matches.

"I'm down here to play games, where that takes me I don't know. I'll just do my business and try my hardest," Beevers told the club's official website.

"Playing on your debut is always tough but I'll take each game as it comes. Clean sheets are what us defenders thrive off so hopefully we can get them in the next four games I'm eligible to play in.

"Bolton are a big club and are looking to bounce straight back to the Premier League so it was nice as a back four, and a back five with David Forde as well, to restrict them to the one goal."
