Lions striker extends Dons stay

Last Updated: Mon, 21 Oct 2013 14:13

Millwall striker John Marquis will have his loan deal at Portsmouth extended by another month.

The 21-year-old's initial four-week spell came to an end following the Fratton Park club's 1-0 win over Bury on Saturday, but Pompey manager Guy Whittingham confirmed after the match that an extension had been agreed.

Marquis, who has scored two goals in five matches since making the move, will be available for the Sky Bet League 2 clash with Wycombe on Tuesday.
