Boss unhappy with home fortunes

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has warned his players that they need to quickly rediscover their form at home after the 1-1 draw with Bury.

Shakers skipper Steven Schumacher hooked in a fine half-volley in the 66th minute to cancel out Dean Bowditch's early opener for the Dons, whose winless run at home stretched to three games.

And Robinson said: "It was frustrating, I just think we lacked a spark. It was just dull, at stadium:mk at the moment we just seem to be waiting for something to happen.

"It's weird, normally it's a fortress and we need to make it back into a fortress.

"I keep saying that we need to get better and we will get better. But we can't keep waiting for it because the season will be over, the season will have passed us by.

"The pitch wasn't great, the referee was abysmal but we can't blame him for our performance either.

"We know we weren't at the races, it was scrappy, we lacked intensity, we lacked quality at key times and almost played into their hands.

"It's hard to break teams down when they sit back so when these chances come along like they did - Izale (McLeod) had one or two - you've got to take them.

"I thought he gave his all but he should have scored, he'll know that and he'll be disappointed about that himself.

"People will be disappointed that we've not won the game but at least we've not been beaten - it's definitely two points lost though."
